Moriarty delayed as new evidence emerges

The Moriarty Tribunal has been delayed to allow tribunal lawyers to prepare new evidence concerning Denis O'Brien.

It is believed they have discovered internal Esat Digifone memos, showing board members were extremely concerned about the floatation of the company when the awarding of the mobile phone licence was under the spotlight.

The tribunal will hear evidence of two £100,000 payments made in connection with the licence.
