Child hurt in Belfast petrol bomb attack

A child was slightly injured in one of two petrol bomb attacks in the North just before midnight last night.

A child was slightly injured in one of two petrol bomb attacks in the North just before midnight last night.

The 10-year-old girl received minor burns during an attack in which a lighted petrol bomb was thrown at a house in the Delhi St area of Belfast.

The occupants managed to escape through a rear door.

In a separate attack, a petrol bomb was thrown at a house in Ballymena, Co Antrim, causing scorch damage. The house was vacant at the time.
