Justice Flood requests more members to be appointed to inquiry
Mr Justice Fergus Flood, the chairman of the tribunal into planning and payments, has requested that two more members be appointed to the inquiry.
Justice Flood also estimates that the tribunal's work will take at least two more years to explore rezoning decisions by Dublin county councillors.
He has contacted all members of the Oireachtas with the request. 200 witnesses have been called so far, and he admits that the tribunal's work will be more extensive than initially predicted.
Justice Flood wants a response to the request before the Dail's summer recess.
