Government to take Britain to court over Sellafield

The Government is taking Britain to court over a new plant in the nuclear reprocessing plant at Sellafield.

Energy minister Joe Jacob is pursuing the action because of the with-holding of information in relation to the mixed oxide fuel plant.

The plant is not yet operational, but in the abscence of information about the impact it may have on human health and the environment if it gets the green light.
