Labour and Fine Gael are demanding answers from the Minister for Public Enterprise Mary O'Rourke about future plans for the national carrier.

There are fears that a trade sale would leave Aer Lingus vulnerable to being taken over by a rival whose first action may be to cut key routes or close it down all together.
