Parties fear vote confusion as province goes to polls

Northern Ireland’s voters were today going to the polls with the future of the Good Friday Agreement at stake in the general and local government elections.

Polling stations across the province were opening at 7am as unionists, nationalists and other parties continued last-ditch efforts to woo floating voters.
