Ahern says 'foreign money' is supporting no campaign

The Taoiseach says that the current campaign for a no vote in the Nice Treaty

is being funded by "foreign money".

Speaking in Killarney today, Mr Ahern said that he was surprised by the extent of the backing that had been put forward for the no campaign.

He says that the no campaign is based on misinformation and has no support from within Ireland.

The Green Party, the Worker's Party and many of the Trade Unions

have all announced that they are supporting the no campaign.
