Foley injunction to continue until Wednesday

An application by Aer Lingus to oppose an injunction that blocked disciplinary proceedings against CEO Michael Foley has been delayed at the High Court until Wednesday.

An application by Aer Lingus to oppose an injunction that blocked disciplinary proceedings against CEO Michael Foley has been delayed at the High Court until Wednesday.

The court heard that lawyers for Mr Foley only received affadavits today and require time to study them.

The President of the High Court is considering a request to make a judge available for Wednesday next.

Last Thursday Mr Foley was granted the injunction by the court.

He is fighting to defend his good name after an inquiry into sex harassment claims against him made an unfavourable recommendation.

In the week of the recommendation the airline chief was told there was no requirement for him to report for duty at his Dublin Airport office.
