Talks break down at Labour Relations Court

Conciliation talks aimed at ending the dispute at Dublin’s toll roads have broken down at the Labour Relations Court.

The strike action will not be restored until both sides have attended a full Labour Court hearing on Monday.

The dispute centres on disagreements over pay and working hours which caused about 100 SIPTU members to go on strike for 11 days.

Talks began at 10am but more than six hours of negotiations could not provide a resolution.
