Suspect foot-and-mouth case in Donegal
A suspect case of foot-and-mouth has been discovered in Co Donegal.
A sheep was found with mouth lesions at Quigley's Point on the Inishowen Peninsula.
Blood samples have been taken and will be sent for testing to the Purbright laboratory in Britain.
A result will be known next Wednesday, although the Department of Agriculture has insisted that the move is purely precautionary.
