Govt urges yes to International Criminal Court

The Government is launching its campaign today for Ireland to ratify the International Criminal Court by referendum next month.

The Statute of Rome provides for the establishment of a permanent international court, with jurisdiction over genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity and aggression.
