The North’s Security Minister Adam Ingram has said that women and children could have been killed after a hostel was set on fire by teenagers on Belfast’s peaceline.

The North’s Security Minister Adam Ingram has said that women and children could have been killed after a hostel was set on fire by teenagers on Belfast’s peaceline.

13 mainly Catholic families escaped overnight as flames took hold at the building located between the nationalist Falls and loyalist Shankill areas.

Mr Ingram says it was pure luck that people were not killed in the attack.

Up to 20 loyalists shouting sectarian abuse were involved.
