Anti-Nice campaigners launch campaign

The Peace and Neutrality Alliance is launching its anti-Nice treaty campaign today.

The group advocates an independent and neutral Irish foreign policy.

It also promotes the UN and the OSCE as the vehicles for Ireland to pursue its security concerns.

Alliance chairman Roger Cole says the Nice Treaty provides for an EU military committee, which will also attend NATO millitary committee meetings.
