Bill Clinton expected in Kerry
There is growing speculation that Bill Clinton will head for Kerry this weekend and will take in a game of golf at Ballybunion.
His weekend break will come ahead of a number of engagements in Dublin on Monday and Tuesday.
Mr Clinton is an honorary member of Ballybunion Golf Club and during a previous visit to Ireland went to the Co Kerry town.
Ballybunion boasts a statue of Mr Clinton teeing off. It is located outside the garda station in the town.
On Monday he will make an address in Dublin and there is also speculation that he will meet the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern at Government Buildings on Tuesday.
The highlight of the trip will be a dinner in Mr Clinton’s honour at Dublin Castle on Tuesday night.
