Dublin Bus drivers are picketing the Department of Public Enterprise in protest at transport de-regulation.

The drivers, who have been organised by SIPTU shop stewards from the company's Donnybrook garage, are demanding that the company remains in State ownership.

They say that privatisation would place their pension and medical entitlements under threat and insist that any moves towards following London-style privatisation would lead to a deterioration of service.
