House prices increased by 1.2% during the month of April and 4% since the beginning of the year, according to figures released today.

House prices increased by 1.2% during the month of April and 4% since the beginning of the year, according to figures released today.

The figures, contained in the Irish Permanent House Price index which is compiled in association with the Economic and Social Research Institute, indicate that prices are starting to cool down.
