Trimble, Mallon condemn 'indiscriminate' mortar attack

The North's First and Deputy First Ministers have joined in the condemnation of last night's mortar bomb attack on an RUC base at Bessbrook in south Armagh.

David Trimble and Seamus Mallon said in a joint statement that those responsible "have taken no interest in the careless risk to life posed by such an indiscriminate action".
