ATGWU call off threatened strike action

Next weeks rail drivers strike has been postponed following a meeting of the ATGWU in Dublin today.

The row erupted because of disciplinary action taken on former members of the Irish Locomotive Drivers Union and had created havoc amongst rail users over the week.
