Third day of deliberation for jury in Dublin murder trial

A jury at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin will this morning resume its deliberations in a murder trial of a 20-year-old Dublin man.

A jury at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin will today resume its deliberations in a murder trial of a 20-year-old Dublin man.

The eight men and four women were sent to a hotel for a second night last night after failing to reach a verdict.

Richard Kearney of Finglas Place in Dublin denies murdering 72-year-old Mary Dillon on dates unknown between November 23 and 25, 1998.

Ms Dillon was last seen alive by a friend on the night of November 23, 1998.
