A major fraudulent credit card making and cloning operation was raided by the gardai at a business park in Finglas in Dublin last night.

A major fraudulent credit card making and cloning operation was raided by the gardai at a business park in Finglas in Dublin last night.

It is believed to have been one of the biggest counterfeit credit card making rackets to be broken up by the gardai in Ireland.

A man was arrested and will appear in court later today.

It is understood that the factory may have been part of an international crime operation involved in the credit card theft of large amounts of money from unsuspecting card users, through what is known as "skimming".
