The Minister for Public Enterprise says she is hopeful that measures can be put in place to prevent next week's rail stoppage.

The Minister for Public Enterprise says she is hopeful that measures can be put in place to prevent next week's rail stoppage.

Yesterday, members of the ATGWU said they will commence nine one-day stoppages starting next week in a bid to seek union regognition for some of its members.

Minister O'Rourke said the affected parties should think again "before causing immense inconvenience for commuters".
