Fine Gael calls for re-introduction of mortgage relief

Fine Gael has called for the re-introduction of mortgage relief to combat the chronic shortage of rented accommodation throughout the country.

The party says that while the tax break was originally abolished to drive speculators out of the market, it hasn't worked.
