Minister calls for Book of Kells to return

The Environment Minister says he supports the return of the Book of Kells to its hometown in Co Meath.

Minister Dempsey believes that the book should be allowed to leave Trinity College in the future.

He was speaking at the unveiling of the Market Cross in Kells today; it was badly damaged in an accident five years ago and has only now been restored.
