Heated exchanges at Abbeylara inquiry

The inquiry into the Abbeylara shooting was suspended for half-an-hour today after heated exchanges between a committee member and a Garda Superintendent.

The author of the Garda internal inquiry, Adrian Culligan, made reference to John Carthy's sister being refused access to the siege area because she was in an unfit condition.
