Teenager charged with sailors death

Gardai in Pearse Streeet have charged the 19-year-old in connection with the death of the 22-year-old Brian Gorey who was a crew member of the LE Eithne.

Mr Gorey, from Co Limerick, drowned in the River Liffey, but the post-mortem examination revealed he had marks on his body consistent with that of an assault.
