Carers Association: Health strategy is a 'shambles'

Director of the Carers Association, Eddie Collins-Hughes described the current health strategy as "a shambles".

Director of the Carers Association, Eddie Collins-Hughes described the current health strategy as "a shambles".

He said it is very important that the current health strategy discussions did not become "a talking shop".

He called for the views carers to be incorporated into the new national health strategy.

Talks on the strategy, which is seen as a blueprint for the health service for the next five years, began today.
