Search resumes for man who fell into sea off Galway

Rescue teams have resumed an extensive search of the Galway coast this morning for a man who fell into the sea last night.

Valentia Coastguard, the Galway Lifeboat and members of the Gardai and fire brigade began a rescue operation last night, but the search was called off after dark.

A number of young men raised the alarm after one of their friends, with whom they had been drinking, fell into the water.
