Two men in their twenties are to appear before Belfast Magistrate’s Court today to face charges of murder following the death of an elderly man in Belfast on Monday.

The body of, the Dublin born, Laurence Flanagan was discovered in his home in South Belfast with severe head and facial injuries.

He had been tied up during a robbery in which his credit cards were stolen.
