Easter talks planned in ESB row

The Taoiseach says he is hopeful that the ESB strike due to begin on April 23 can be averted.

SIPTU workers in the company are looking for a 28% pay increase.

In the Dail today, Bertie Ahern said that Public Enterprise Minister Mary O'Rourke and her officials would be working during Easter to find a resolution.
