Navan meat plant given foot and mouth all clear

Final test results on the suspected foot and mouth case at the Irish Country Meats plant in Navan, Co Meath, have returned negative.

Initial tests had also shown up negative, but the Department was waiting until the definitive result before giving the all-clear.
