Gardai are treating as suspicious the death of a man in Dublin's North inner

city following the discovery of a body near Benburb Street.

The discovery was made at about 1pm today.

Deputy State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, is examining the scene of the discovery and a post mortem examination will be made on the body at the city morgue later today.

It is believed that the man had sustained head injuries.
