Guinness unions hopeful of strike resolution

The joint unions forum which has served strike notice on Guinness has expressed hope that the row over the closure of the Dundalk packaging plant can still be resolved.

The unions have demanded that the plant be kept in Ireland rather than moved abroad, where costs are cheaper.
