Arrests made after Belfast shooting
The RUC said a number of people were arrested following a shooting incident
in north Belfast last night.
No-one was hurt when shots were fired at a house on Alliance Avenue, although the occupants were inside at the time.
The car used in the attack was later found burnt out in a loyalist area.
Meanwhile, petrol bombs were thrown into the Protestant Fountain estate in Derry last night.
The RUC said eight devices were hurled from the nationalist Nailors Row area. Two houses suffered slight scorch damage.
