Unions may blockade Guinness imports
Union leaders at Guinness may blockade imports of British-manufactured stout if their strike goes ahead next Thursday.
The company is expected to bring in the British stout to prevent supplies running out, although St James' Gate has not so far commented.
It is understood unions will discuss the possible blockade when they meet tomorrow.
The strike concerns the company's plans to close its Dundalk packaging plant and transfer the operation to Belfast.
