Irish crew member stuck on ship ablaze in Channel

A fire has broken out on a ship in the English Channel with 13 Irish, British and Portuguese crew members on board.

The car carrier, with 329 vehicles on board, was sailing from Southampton to Zeebrugge when the fire broke out 11 miles north of Calais.
