Aer Lingus planes to be grounded from midnight

Tomorrow's one-day stoppage by Aer Lingus clerical and operative staff looks set to ground the airline's fleet for the second successive Friday.

The 3,000 staff, represented by SIPTU, are demanding renegotiation of existing pay deals following a recent agreement with staff represented by other unions.
