Planning authorities to submit reports to minister today

Today is the deadline for local authorities to submit reports on staff double jobbing to the Minister for the Environment.

Noel Dempsey ordered the authorities to review their planning files in January following reports that some staff were engaged in outside work which conflicted with their jobs.
