Industrial strife seems set for the Guinness Brewery with a vote due today and there are indications the Aer Lingus fleet will be grounded again on Friday.

Although the main union at Guinness has voted for a negotiated settlement on the row over the closure of the Dundalk packaging plant, unions representing 40% of the workforce are expected to issue strike notice today.
