Hungary receives support from Ireland on EU membership

Hungary's future membership of the European Union has been given added momentum by Ireland.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs met his Hungarian counterpart in Dublin today during which Brian Cowen expressed his confidence that Hungary would be in the first wave of new countries to join.
