Punishment beating leaves man in hospital

A 22-year-old man is recovering in hospital this morning from injuries sustained in a paramilitary-style punishment attack.

Four masked men burst into a house in Coleraine at around 10.30pm and went to the bedroom, where they beat the occupant with a baton.
