Animal smugglers to be fully prosecuted - Ahern

The Taoiseach has warned that anyone caught smuggling animals into the State will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Speaking during a visit to the exclusion zone in Co Louth, Bertie Ahern said he was horrified that the actions of a few could jeopardise the entire agriculture industry.
