Non-nursing staff employed by the Eastern Regional Health Authority have decided to defer a four-hour work stoppage.

Non-nursing staff employed by the Eastern Regional Health Authority have decided to defer a four-hour work stoppage planned for next Monday following a request from the Labour Court.

The staff are seeking money due to them from national wage agreements and other back pay. The union representing the workers, SIPTU, said it will attend talks under the auspices of the Labour Relations Commission.
