Farmers unsure if their livestock are safe from culling
Farmers in North Co Louth are anxiously awaiting news to learn if a further cull of livestock is to take place in the Cooley Peninsula.
Department of Agriculture officials are considering their next move after the deputy chief veterinary officer said caution must still be exercised by North Louth Farmers.
The Taoiseach is due to pay a visit to the Cooley area later today.
