O'Donoghue to meet with prison service over escapes

The Minister for Justice, John O'Donoghue, is to meet with the Director of the Irish Prison Service to discuss the rising number of convicts escaping from custody.

Yesterday, a 20-year-old man escaped while being transported to St Patrick's Institution in Dublin.
