17-year-old dies in road accident

A 17-year-old motorist has become the second overnight casualty on Ireland's roads.

The young man was driving one of two cars that collided outside Rathoat in Co. Meath yesterday evening.

In Dublin city this morning, a motorcyclist died when he lost control of his bike and crashed into a pole near Mount Argus in Harold's Cross.
