ASTI to meet Labour Court at weekend

It has been confirmed that the Labour Court is to meet members of the ASTI on Sunday.

The secondary teachers union is seeking clarification on parts of the Labour Court recommendation aimed at ending the dispute.

ASTI teachers are demanding a 30% pay rise but the Government is insisting it cannot move outside the terms of the National Wage agreement and the benchmarking process.
