Minister McDaid welcomes relaxation of restrictions

There has been a widespread welcome for the Department of Agriculture’s decision to relax restrictions which had been put in place due to the foot-and-mouth disease.

From this weekend, indoor sporting events and conferences can go ahead as normal but sea and airports will stay on the alert for the importation of the virus.
