Second suspected foot and mouth outbreak in North
Authorities in the North are investigating a possible second case of foot and mouth, Stormont Agriculture Minister Brid Rodgers has confirmed.
Mrs Rodgers said a suspect case involving a single sheep displaying symptoms was discovered in a slaughter house in Dungannon, Co Tyrone, earlier today.
So far only one outbreak has been confirmed in the South Armagh area.
The sheep in question originated on a farm near Augher, Co Tyrone.
Samples have been sent to laboratories in England for analysis and a result is expected within 36 hours.
