Body found in Derry river

A man's body was recovered from the River Foyle in Co Derry today.

The body was spotted by a member of the public at Coshowen shortly before 10.30am.

A police spokeswoman said a post mortem would be carried out later.

She added there was nothing to suggest that anyone else was involved in the man's death.
