Pressure on Martin over blood supply levels

Pressure is growing on the Minister for Health to make a statement in the Dail on the level of Ireland's reserve blood supplies.

It follows a delay by the Blood Transfusion Service in announcing whether to ban donors at risk of carrying variant CJD, the human form of mad cow disease.
